About Me
Hey there,
My name is Evan Solano. I am the Creative Director and co-founder of theLAnd Magazine and a freelance graphic designer, based in the San Gabriel Valley, about 20 minutes from DTLA. In a world that’s increasingly shifting rapidly to online and digital — my area of expertise is in all aspects of print media production (zines, magazines, newspapers), as well as creating posters/prints, shirt designs, editorial art for print or digital. I also do consultations for high school and college-level magazine/newspaper production. My work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Magazine, and The Marshall Project in both print and online. I am a self-proclaimed font nerd who loves Lakers basketball and heavy metal/punk. If you wanna make rad, tactile works of art, hit me up!
